EVN Croatia

EVN Croatia Plin is part of the publicly listed Austrian EVN Group (LinkedIn Link), a leading international energy and environmental services provider which operates in more than 12 countries and services approximately 5 million customers.

EVN Croatia Plin holds concessions to build and operate the distribution gas grid in the areas of Lika-Senj, Zadar, Sibenik-Knin and Split. On this basis, EVN Croatia Plin has been building the distribution gas grid in the mentioned regions as a greenfield investor since 2009. Given the young age of the grid, it is technically state-of-the-art and already hydrogen-ready.

Furthermore, EVN Croatia Plin operates in the gas supply business and, therefore, supplies gas to business, industrial, public, and household customers.
EVN Croatia Plin offers access to a competitive and efficient energy source with a high level of supply security - attractive not only for households, but especially for energy-intensive applications.

EVN Croatia Plin is a decisive and essential location factor for economic growth and investment in the region.

At EVN Croatia Plin, we focus our efforts on customer care and strive to achieve the highest level of security of supply. We invest in innovations and look for the best solution in every aspect of our work. In doing so, we follow strictly our philosophy of corporate social responsibility and pursue balanced policy for environmental protection. We owe our success to our employees who put their positive energy in everything we do.

Strategy, vision and mission

As an independent energy company EVN Croatia wants to achieve a strong position in Dalmatia and Lika and keep it on the long run. As an energy provider we cover the daily needs of our customers and contribute to their quality of living through our reliable high-value performance. In order to meet their expectations we apply the highest standards of quality – of our products as well as of our services. We meet our social responsibility in many ways: the concern for the welfare of the employees, fair wages and the creation of a positive corporate culture.

Company grounds are characterized by openness, loyalty and mutual respect.

Whistleblowing Procedure

The EVN Group offers the possibility to report indications of presumed compliance violations in a trustful environment within the context of its Whistleblowing Procedure. This procedure is an important component of the company’s Compliance Management System. The Compliance Officer is responsible for handling and reviewing the submitted reports in accordance with legal regulations. The reports you submit as well as your personal data are treated as strictly confidential.

Please keep in mind that the Whistleblowing Procedure will only consider matters relating to alleged violations of the EVN Code of Conduct within the material scope of the Whistleblower Protection Act as amended. Reports concerning other matters are only investigated as part of the Whistleblowing Procedure if they obviously impact significant overall interests of the EVN Group. Reports on other matters are processed within the existing reporting and notification structures (e.g. by complaints management).

The Whistleblowing Procedure should ensure the complete, objective and efficient clarification of reported violations. Obviously false reports will be rejected.

Providing your contact data serves as the basis for further inquiries and promotes the orderly processing of your report. However, the report will also be processed in case the report is submitted anonymously. Irrespective of this, the protection of the whistleblower and safeguarding confidentiality are ensured in any case.

In addition to notifications conveyed via the Whistleblowing Procedure, there is also the possibility to make use of official (external) reporting channels. However, please keep in mind that such reports could lead to investigations by public authorities. We would like to encourage you to take advantage of the Whistleblowing Procedure so that we will have the possibility to appropriately respond to potential violations.

Notification of a suspected violation of the EVN Code of Conduct

In addition, perceived misconduct can also be reported via e-mail, fax, letter, telephone or in person to superiors or compliance officers.
