Whistleblowing Procedure

The EVN Group offers the possibility to report indications of presumed compliance violations in a trustful environment within the context of its Whistleblowing Procedure. This procedure is an important component of the company’s Compliance Management System. The Compliance Officer is responsible for handling and reviewing the submitted reports in accordance with legal regulations. The reports you submit as well as your personal data are treated as strictly confidential.

Please keep in mind that the Whistleblowing Procedure is designed for alleged violations of the EVN Code of Conduct and other legal regulations. Reports concerning other matters are only investigated if they obviously impact significant overall interests of the EVN Group.

The Whistleblowing Procedure should ensure the complete, objective and efficient clarification of reported violations. Obviously false reports will be rejected.

Providing your contact data serves as the basis for further inquiries and promotes the orderly processing of your report. However, the report will also be processed in case the report is submitted anonymously. Irrespective of this, the protection of the whistleblower and safeguarding confidentiality are ensured in any case.

In addition to notifications conveyed via the Whistleblowing Procedure, there is also the possibility to make use of official (external) reporting channels. However, please keep in mind that such reports could lead to investigations by public authorities. We would like to encourage you to take advantage of the Whistleblowing Procedure so that we will have the possibility to appropriately respond to potential violations.
